Ride the beautiful pioneer express trail and western states trail
• Head Veterinarian-
Dr. Melissa Ribley, D.V.M.
The American River Classic is a fun, traditional and exciting ride, with challenging and technical trails. Most of the trail is single track with some wide sections. Through history this has been one of the first 50's for new riders due to the beauty and challenge of the trail, which the trail allows for the 50's the opportunity to ride the last section of the tevis cup in the daylight.
This year, 2019, Friday night dinner will be a wonderful pasta dinner served up by the Placer High FFA.
Remember to check our Blog for any ride updates.
Welcome
We would like to welcome you to the 45th annual American River Classic Endurance Ride, the oldest A.E.R.C. sanctioned 50 mile endurance ride in the world. The ride follows the Pioneer Express Trail along the beautiful American River up to the Auburn Staging Area. From there the ride follows the Western States trail through the American River canyon, on up to Cool, around part of the Olmstead Loop, down into Coffer Dam (around Salt Creek loop), into Cool and on back to Auburn. If you want to experience the last section of the Tevis cup in the day-light, then this is your ride. This year we will continue with our Friday night dinner catered by The Olive Garden.
We look forward to seeing you all there, Ride Management.
