PLEASE VOLUNTEER
This event like so many others can not happen without the volunteers. Erin and I, and all of our kids regularly volunteer at running, endurance, bike, dog trials, and racing pigeon events so that these events can be possible for the participants. We put in our volunteer time knowing that the days when we are the participant that if it weren't for the volunteers we wouldn't be able to enjoy those events we work so hard for! And we know that it is not easy to ask people to give up a Friday evening or a Saturday morning, but if you have the time and you are willing to help the American River Classic please e-mail us and we will make sure that you will have somerthing to do the weekend of the ride! (and a great dinner on Saturday too!). We need P&R crews and we need people to help us clean and mark the trail. Erin always enjoys some help with the dinner, and she'll keep you entertained with her humorous commentary... Sometimes we need someone to drive rigs for people from out of town on Saturday morning too. Please contact us with how you can help be a part of a historic and wonderful event.
